Ways to Quit

 

 

1) Call

The Nebraska Tobacco Quitline, 1-800-QUIT-NOW (1-800-784-8669), gives Nebraska residents free and confidential, 24/7 access to counseling and support services.

Quitline services are available in 170 languages and Spanish-speaking residents are welcome to call, 1-855-DÉJELO-YA (1-855-335-3569).

2) Mobile App

The QuitNow mobile app will support you through your quit process - from setting a Quit Date to identifying your reasons for quitting to conquering cravings once you've quit.

To boost motivation, the app will also track the money you've saved since quitting and the days added back to your life.

3) Web-based Coaching

Sign up for the coaching program on the QuitNow website  to receive web-based resources and 1-on-1 online support.

4) In-Person Cessation Classes

Use the list of Nebraska Cessation Programs  to find the nearest or appropriate group sessions and individualized counseling.
